Peace. Quiet. We all could use more of it.

In my life I find that I don’t make enough time to rest. I just keep pushing myself to go, go, go—until I have a breakdown.

Well, this month I am trying to break that cycle, say no to those extra things I know I really can’t handle and protect my downtime. It’s hard work. But it’s so worth it!

This week we are centering our theme around “Peace & Quiet.” What does that mean to you? What do you want to record right now about your need for peace and quiet? What do you what to say about your resolutions to have more of it in your life? And what are your favorite ways to bring peace and quiet into you life? Let’s write them down and scrap about it!

Dare Flare:

• The colors of your layout must be soft–use pastel or white papers and elements.
• You don’t have to use a photo, but you have to use a frame on your page!
• Use paint in some way on your page.
• Add an inspiring quote or “note to self” on your page. This can be the focus of you page or it can be subtle and hidden in your design (like blended into the background, for example).
