Tell us a little about you! I’m Traci Reed, a 25 year old wife, mother, designer, student and everything in between! My husband Patrick and I live in Northern California with our 2 boys, Karsten (5) and Josiah (4). When I’m not working, cooking, cleaning, driving the kids around or studying, I love to knit, read and watch TV!
What’s your favorite quote? All men dream but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dream with open eyes to make it possible. T.E. Lawrence
What’s your biggest inspiration in life? The canned answer is my family, whom of course inspire me, but I’m inspired for so many reasons by so many things, in so many ways. I actually have to carry a journal with me because I’m always inspired.
What’s your favorite TV show (or movie)? Gawd, I’m a TV & Movie-o-holic..we watch soo much but I la-la-LOVE Glee!!
If you had just ONE wish – what would you wish for? I would wish for tolerance, both within my life and globally.
How long have you been designing? 5 years
What is your design style? What kind of inspiration do you hope to achieve with your products? I love patterns, colors, layering embellishments..anything that’s realistic and could be put on a page in real life generally. I love looking at fantasy layouts, they’re absolutely gorgeous, but since I don’t scrap that way, I don’t design that way either. All I hope for with my products is for people to be inspired to capture their special moments.
What’s your favorite product you’ve created? I love everything I do just like if they were my children, lol, so if I HAD to choose, I love anything I do where I’m in the mood to illustrate a lot so I’ll pick Frankie and Jackie because I had so much fin illustrating for it!
What software do you use? Adobe CS4 Suite
What’s your favorite part of digital scrapbooking? I can accomplish so much more on a digital layout than a paper layout and it always comes out prettier!
Do you scrap? If so, how long have you been scrapping for? I paper scrapped for 10 years and then I’ve been dig scrapping for 6
What would you say your scrap style is? Paper-style with lots of layers and papers!
