Tell us a little bit about you: I am a 36 YO wife and mother to 3 children, ages 11-3. We live in Southern Ohio with our 2 doggies. I am blessed to be able to stay home with my kids while they are young. I have been married to my perfect opposite for over 14 years and still going strong.
What’s your favorite quote? Phi 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
What’s your biggest inspiration in life? Everything. My kids mostly but I draw inspiration from everything I see including magazines, books, ads, billboards, clothing, fabric, you name it!!
What’s your favorite part of digital scrapbooking? The mess!!! Or should I say LACK OF? I love not having to clean up afterwards!!
How long have you been designing? Since November 2006 I think. It has been a while.
What is your design style? I would say that I don’t have a certain style per say. I usually just go with the flow of my inspiration!!
What kind of inspiration do you hope to achieve with your products? I suppose that encouraging everyone to record their memories before they are forgotten would be the one thing I hope to have accomplished.
What’s your favorite product you’ve created? I know it is weird to actually love your own designs but I do. I enjoy every single thing I create and I even scrap with my own stuff. LOL! I have to say my favorite kit would be “My Marilee”. Marilee was my mother’s nickname. She passed away a few years ago and I did that kit for her. Her favorite color was purple. I also adore my Twilight inspired minikits as well.
Do you scrap? What would you say your style is? OF COURSE!! I love to scrap every day! It is my calming agent after a long day. I am also all over the place on that as well. I just choose a photo and let the creativity flow.
Would you rather be limited to using only papers on your layouts or only elements (if you had to choose)? Oooh! elements for sure!!! I did a recent dare that required you to only use paper and no elements. At first, I thought it was a no brainer until I started. It was haaaard!!! But I love the outcome!!
What software do you use? I have several that I dabble in. But the main one I use to design is PS CS3. I also use AI. But for scrapping a layout I use PSE6.
