About the Digi Dares:
In August of 2006, a group of digital scrapbookers joined forced to bring a fresh and fun new challenge site to the digital community. Thus the Digi Dares were born! The Digi Dare team consists of a group of both scrappers and designers who take turns each week creating a “Dare” – a fun, unique challenge designed to help spark the participant’s creativity. Each week all of the participant’s layouts are viewed and judged according to how well they incorporated the Dare into their design. One of these layouts is chosen as the Darer’s pick, and one other is chosen at random. These two scrappers will each win some awesome prizes for playing along!
Benefits to sponsoring designers:
During the month that you will be a prize donator, you would have:
- 150×150 banner advertisement on our blog site linking to your digital store
- A week-long Sponsor Spotlight on the blog
- Use of your products in the darer layouts for the month
- Advertisement your sponsorship via our weekly Dare ads and our Facebook fan page.
It is our hope and belief that as a featured designer you will gain valuable exposure in the digital community and we would love to see this boost your sales!
Some of what we would need from you!
- As a sponsor for the month, we would one $10 gift certificate with 5 uses on it to give as prizes to our participants for that month.
- A 150px by 150px banner to be displayed on the sidebar.
- A link to your store
- Product/Layout previews
- At the dares, we strive to promote your designs to the best of our ability. To that end, we would request a coupon for our darers to use to purchase your products for their dare layouts that month. This can be any dollar amount you desire, however our typical donation is a $10 coupon valid 15 times (once for each darer).
- If you are a scrapper as well, you will be invited to participate along with the dares for your sponsor month.
Sponsor Spotlight Details
We’ve been brainstorming over at the Digi Dares to come up with better ways to promote our wonderful sponsors. We’ve come up with a really thrilling idea that I think you’ll love!
The idea is to do a “Sponsor Spotlight” each week on the blog. We have 4 sponsors per month and each sponsor would get their own week to shine during that month! This would include a fun Q&A Session with you, a few of your favorite products to spotlight, as well as an exclusive offer to our participants. What we’re proposing is for you to offer the people who participate in the dare challenge the week that you are being spotlighted an exclusive % off coupon for the percentage of your choice to use in your store for 1-2 weeks after your spotlight week.
What this would do is encourage not only participation in our site, but effectively promote you and encourage people to purchase from your store. All of the mailing of coupons would be done by us at the end of your spotlight week, so it creates no additional work for you!
