Tell us a little about you!
My hubby thinks I’m a genius; poor guy. My daughter calls me Mommy. We live on the coast of Virginia and I am a beach girl at heart. I switched to digital scrapbooking when my daughter was born, a story needed telling and I fell in love with my digital camera. Since then I equally enjoy creating, finding, and sharing new techniques to use on my pages. Love telling a good ole’ story too! I’m a Dream Team member for Creating Keepsakes Magazine 2008 & 2009, was inducted into the CK Hall of Fame in 2006, and sell digital products and templates at Little Dreamer Designs. I’ve always got a good story to share on my blog.
What’s your favorite quote?
“A designer knows he has achieved perfection not when there is nothing left to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.”
Antoine de Saint-Exupery
What’s your biggest inspiration in life?
My family – hands down!
What’s your favorite part of digital scrapbooking?
The ‘UNDO’ button. I don’t think I’d scrap if I didn’t have an ‘UNDO’ button.
How long have you been designing?
Little over a year.
What is your design style? What kind of inspiration do you hope to achieve with your products?
My templates are pretty bold, with lots of shapes and sometimes unpredictable design. They actually mimic my own scrapbooking style. When I create a kit, it’s always colorful (love color) and lately inspired by nature. I definitely hope to inspire people to scrap whether it’s fast or slow, lots of detail or minimal embellishment. Just scrap!

Do you scrap? What would you say your style is?
Sure, love to! My pages are usually colorful, bold, and the story is always front and center. I always incorporate some type of technique on a page but usually it’s my little secret.

Would you rather be limited to using only papers on your layouts or only elements (if you had to choose)?
I think that’s a trick question because I love them both equally.
But if I had to choose, I’d choose paper because I can create elements from them.
What’s your favorite product you’ve created?
Really digging my StoryTeller templates which leave so much room for journaling. I’m a journaler at heart.
What software do you use?
Adobe Photoshop CS3 and Adobe Illustrator CS3
