Hi Ladies! Barb here with a little “pre St. Paddy’s Day” Dare cheer!
Here are my winning pics from last week. Our random winner is SELENA with this colorful entry (love it!):

My pick this week is a really fun one from JAMIE, and this is her first Dare! Way to go Jamie, you have started out on top with this super-dee-duper layout!

Please email us at digidares at gmail dot com to claim your prizes!
Our delightful sponsor this week is Suzy Q Scraps!

Tell us a little about you! I am a SAHM to a rambunctious 2-year-old and wife to my super sweet husband of 4 years. We live in the middle-of-nowhere and I love it. When I’m not scrapbooking or designing, I enjoy reading, writing, baking cheesecakes, learning, playing video games, and enjoying nature.
What’s your favorite quote? Hmm. I think right now it’s this one by Thoreau: Do not lose hold of your dreams or aspirations. For if you do, you may still exist but you have ceased to live.
What’s your favorite TV show (or movie)? My favorite movie is Avatar.
If you had just ONE wish, what would you wish for? Um, well, I’d love to be all sentimental and say world peace or happiness in my family forever … but I’m going to say a Chevy Silverado HD. ![]()
How long have you been designing? Officially, 15 months.
What is your design style? Bright, bold, & fun!
What kind of inspiration do you hope to achieve with your products? I hope to inspire others to really LIVE their lives, and not to be afraid to scrap their whole journeys, even the bitter moments.
What’s your favorite product you’ve created? Right now it’s Love Monsters. ![]()
What software do you use? Photoshop CS4 and Illustrator CS4
What’s your favorite part of digital scrapbooking? Versatility and forever redo-ability, lol — that I can resize/recolor anything and move things around over and over again without wasting supplies. (And no mess!)
Do you scrap? If so, how long have you been scrapping for? I have been creating scrapbooks since I was a teenager, but converted to digi in 2007.
What would you say your scrap style is? Fun. Generally with lots of layering, but sometimes really clean and simple.

Now that you’re way down here, it’s time for this week’s Dare!
It’s the week of St. Patrick’s day and that means that it’s the week to celebrate the Irish in me. I really don’t have that much Irish blood, but I do have some. Basically my heritage is mainly German and Eastern European.
Do you know what your heritage is? Do you wish you knew more? Tell us what you know about your ancestors and your family heritage, even if you just tell us about your own parents and where they come from.
Dare Flair:
Photos are optional, but if you have photos of your ancestors, the more the merrier!
Use a frame that looks distressed
Use some grungy paper
Use a typewriter font for your journaling
Use a bit of green somewhere on your layout in honor of St. Patrick’s Day

I just love Tawyn’s comment about “not what I was supposed to be doing today” – too funny, I’m exactly the same.
Great dare – it’s had me thinking all week.
