Phew! Finally on to this week’s Dare!
Chaos.
I’ve been thinking a lot lately about the chaos of living a life with 2 boys. Add to that school ending, moving, and other changes and my life is in an utter state of chaos right now. What about your life, what is chaotic in your life? Or maybe, what’s chaotic about someone you love? Chaos isn’t necessarily a bad thing and even when it is negative, it teaches us lessons and how to cope with imperfection.
So my challenge to you, is to scrap something chaotic. Maybe there’s a room in your house that you just can’t keep clean. Maybe you have two boys like me and have a constant happy chaos, or maybe the economy has turned your life upside down and provided unwanted chaos in your life.
Flair:
I want your layout to either contrast with your chaotic message and be super clean lined and graphic OR go with the chaotic flow and be MESSY, feel free to experiment and leave the Ctrl+Z alone!
I don’t want to see the word Chaos on your layout, in fact, pick a synonym (here or here) for your title and make it big!
Here’s some examples from our team!

Journaling:
No matter what we say or do, you always do your own thing. You are as stubborn as they come. You are always getting into the garbage and tearing things up. We punish you and yet you still continue to wreck havoc while we sleep or are gone. We have had to replace 4 bike seats, 2 lawn mower seats, wiring for both the pick-up and a trailer as well as some wood on the front deck. Why do we keep you? Because you have been part of our family since you were a puppy and we love you every bit as much as you love us. So you go on and continue in your state of anarchy and one day you will grow out of that puppy stage and become the guard dog we paid for!! You big LUGNUT!!! Note: His name is Lugnut.

Journaling:
you have developed a style that I would define as hodge-podge. the walls to your bedroom are covered with your art, torn magazine pages, and random word art. your closet is an eclectic array of funky, colorful pieces. there is no rhyme or reason to your style. but as odd as sounds, your style has this sense of cohesiveness that very few would understand. but i understand it. it’s just you in every sense of its meaning.

Here is mine…this was a great challenge. I could have easily taken a photo of any room in my home and scrapped. Or my weed-filled flower beds. Or the inside of my car. But when I really thought about why those things are the way they are it comes down to time (for me) and not because there isn’t enough of it (well, sometimes) but most times because I don’t manage the time I have very well.

Lots of great LOs this week. Thanks for the dare. I’m sure all you moms can relate. If anything I learned a few techniques that I had been wanting to try (brushes and masks).
