Hello Digi World — it’s Janet here — SO excited to back with the Digi Dare team. This group is so amazing…in fact I spotlighted them this week at my site. You can read all about the Darers HERE and HERE.
Before we get to this weeks Dare (which I am SO excited about!) let’s look at the winners from last week. I’ll admit…for a “square” scrapper like me that challenge was so hard. But you all rocked it! My pick for this challenge is Leslie with this super fun layout!

And this weeks random winner is luvfromindia’s That’s Where I Live!

Congratulations girls! Send an email to thedigidares at gmail dot com to claim your prize.

Okay…on to this weeks Dare!
“ALL I REALLY NEED TO KNOW I LEARNED (in/from/by etc) _______________”
Many people are familiar with Robert Fulghum’s book, “ALL I REALLY NEED TO KNOW I LEARNED IN KINDERGARTEN”. He states that his most important life lessons were learned when he was just a kid. Things like, Share everything, Play fair, Don’t hit people, Put things back where you found them, Clean up your own mess, and Don’t take things that aren’t yours.
For this weeks Dare I want you to make your own “ALL I REALLY NEED TO KNOW” page. Maybe you feel like your kids have taught you most about life. Maybe the rough patches in life have taught you the lessons you needed to learn. Of perhaps a tongue-in-cheek “ALL I REALLY NEED TO KNOW I LEARNED BY Watching What Not to Wear” is more your style. Whatever it is, think creatively and tell the world on a scrapbook page what in life taught you your most important lessons.
DARE FLAIR
* Include at least 5 lessons learned
* Just one photo — find a photo of something that ties the page and the theme together
* Throw some acrylic on there somewhere
And to get you inspired…check out what the Darers did. I LOVE them!
AJA:

All I really needed to know I learned from these three…
1. mud is the new black
2. kids with a shovel can dig up a yard much faster than a dog…or a backhoe
3. if the shoe fits, refuse to wear it…or at least put it on the wrong foot
4. if you close your eyes, you are invisible
5. never lay on the floor–it makes you fair game for wrestling
6. silence is not golden, it’s suspicious
7. amazingly enough, despite all this, I’ve never had so much fun in my life…love you guys!

Journaling :
1. Be organized, make a list of things to do. You’ll achieve more !!!
2. Cook in advance and freeze so that when you’re too lazy or don’t have time to cook, you’ll still have a nice dinner !!!
3. Clean and tidy your appartement regularly, before it gets too messy. You’ll feel better in a clean environment !!!
4. Even if you don’t feel like it, because you are too comfy in your sofa scrapping on your laptop, go out. You’ll sure have a blast !!!
5. Don’t watch TV until too late. You’ll have trouble waking up in the morning plus most of the time, TV programs are crap !!!

CHRISTINE:

All I Really Need to Know I learned by Observing My Mom:
1. Love God and love people with all your heart.
2. Don’t keep grudges.
3. Being gentle does not mean being weak.
4. Keep your focus always on heavenly things instead of earthly things.
5. Reading and writing bring joy to our lives and help us share with others.

Thanks for the challenge! It was a great way to scrap this photo of me with the 2008 Olympic women’s gymnastics team head coach.
This was fun. I had a good time coming up with semi-realistic things that had to do with taking pictures
