And now onto this weeks dare! It really does seem like forever since I was up for writing a dare and I so hope you are inspired by this one!

Happy Birthday Uncle Sam!

Did you know that September 3 is the birthday of Uncle Sam?! I didn’t either! (or maybe you are way smarter and did know. lol) The Uncle Sam image was first used on this day in 1813. He’s getting really old huh?? Let’s do a non traditional birthday page shall we?

Dare Flair:
–Scrap a birthday. any birthday.
–I want to see red, white and blue somewhere on your page. We often don’t think of these colors except for on the 4th of July, but let’s honor old Uncle Sam and use them in Sept.
–I want to see glitter and/or fireworks on your page as well. Sometimes it’s hard to find fireworks so glitter would work, but fireworks are preferred!
–Use a three word title and at least 2 different alphas or fonts.
–No limitations on pictures and journaling. Just go with what inspires you in those areas.

Journaling: It seems like no matter whose birthday we are celebrating, bows and ribbons find their way to Sebastian’s head. It’s just something he does… he finds the goofiest looking bows and curly ribbons and uses them to make us all smile and laugh. That’s just his personality. Love it!
