Digi Dare #257

Hello everyone! Darer Rebecca here, a little late, with this week’s dare! But first, let’s take a look at the winners from last week’s dare!

My choice this week was this great layout by Eva (tanteva). I love the color scheme and the brush work behind the photo.

And our random winner this week is SparkysGirl with this fabulous layout (looks yummy!)

Email us at digidares at gmail dot com to claim your prize!!

This week’s sponsor is the fabulously talented Karen Lewis. You can read about Karen and her designs HERE. She has also added a special little something in there for our Digi Dare readers. Be sure to check it out!

Now on to this week’s dare!

What a busy and crazy and wonderful week! I’m so excited about all the things that lie ahead in the next few days. At our house, we are looking forward to Christmas Eve service, Christmas morning breakfast, opening presents, and having a break from school. What’s going on in your house? Is it a special week for you? Or is it business as usual? This time of year, no matter which holiday you celebrate (or maybe you don’t celebrate at all), it seems things always run a little bit differently. There’s increased traffic, crowded shopping centers, kids home from school. It can be overwhelming. It can be wonderful. It can be a little of both, really.
For this week’s dare, let’s reflect on this a bit. What does this week have in store for you? Is it gift-giving and time with friends and family? Is it a hectic schedule? Is it togetherness? Loneliness? Happiness? Grief? So many of us experience such a wide range of these emotions and conditions during this time of year, so let’s get it down on paper (or pixels).
Dare Flair… *let’s keep it simple, so we have time to get it all done*
1. Tell us what this week holds for you. You can go in any direction with this. It can be about one specific event you’re looking forward to. It can be about the 800 different things you have to do. It can be about an emotion. Whatever. However you want to approach this is perfectly fine. Just tell us about it. And that leads to flair #2…
2. Use a combination of your title and journaling to convey your week to us. By looking at the title and reading your journaling, we should have a really good of how you see this week.
3. Use the color green somewhere in your layout.
4. Use the color blue somewhere in your layout.
5. Include at least one photo. Stock photos would be okay, if necessary.
